This year’s festival theme, “America 250,” celebrates the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding and highlights the creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit that continue to shape our communities today. As in past years, the festival is timed to coincide with the Johnsonburg Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Alumni & Friends Weekend, attracting a strong mix of local residents, returning alumni, and visitors to Market Street.

Market Street will serve as the central festival corridor, lined with artisan booths, food trucks, live music, local business specials, and interactive activities throughout the weekend. Vendors will benefit from a walkable, high-visibility streetscape framed by historic architecture, active storefronts, and consistent foot traffic. Visitors will enjoy live music from regional performers, with Darkwater Duo headlining and JB Unplugged opening Friday evening, along with a diverse mix of food trucks and an artisan and maker market featuring artists, authors, and heritage vendors.

Festival highlights include heritage exhibits and historic building tours at the Heritage-Education & Welcome Center, an educational wildlife display presented by the Seneca Nation of Indians featuring live eastern hellbender salamanders, an up-close native snake presentation by lifelong Elk County outdoorsman Russ Gleixner, interactive programming led by Johnsonburg High School student committees, a classic car show on Saturday LINK, and an open stage on Saturday showcasing local and regional talent.
